A true story by the author herself how she survived 18 years lived with her kidnapper.
Jaycee Dugard was 11 years old when she was kidnapped by Phillip Dugard and his wife Nancy Dugard in 1991. They kept and hide her at their backyard and rapped until she pregnant 2 times.
The vocab is simple (you don't need extravaganza vocab to explain you have been rapped and abuse right?). The most important is that you can feel what Jaycee felt at that time and makes you curious what will happen next?
